DESTINY SIMMONS

THE SCOUTING REPORT

Meet Destiny Simmons. 5'7" Point Guard at Spring Valley High School, Class of 2029.

This young lady, who first started out cheerleading, dancing, and as a phenomenal track athlete, is what you would call "a diamond in the rough." She first gained interest in the game of basketball due to her brother's involvement in the Rizin' Starz AAU program. Once her mind was made up that she wanted to play, she quickly picked things up and became an instant star.

Since joining the ALOTO program, Dest has become a highly sought-after talent. In just 2 years of training, she pretty much caught up with or surpassed almost every player that had a year or two head start on her. She led her Summit Parkway Middle School team to their first district championship and was the MVP. Two years after that, she is now the starting point guard and focal point of the varsity girls basketball team at Spring Valley. In 19 games she's leading the team with averages of 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

If she continues to put in the work, this young lady's future isn't just bright, it's going to be blindingly blaring. She's a can't-miss superstar, waiting to explode. Meet Destiny Simmons AKA "Dest" the Golden Child.
